Jack, I was so sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing.  She was a wonderful woman.  I always looked forward to seeing the two of you at the Mt. Laurel Autoharp Gathering.  She used to check me in when the gathering was at the Orthey Farm so she would always be my first hug.   I remember her beautiful singing voice.  My condolences on your great loss.

Love,  Kathy Wieland

Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Mary Ann for long, I will remember her fondly from visits with her at Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering. She will be missed by so many. She was a great friend to that community!

Mary Ann will be sorely missed by all those who knew her within the international Autoharp community. She was an outstanding player and an even more outstanding and willing volunteer who helped others through personal contact and through her service to the Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering and to the Autoharp Quarterly magazine. She was inducted into the Autoharp Hall of Fame for her many contributions over the years. Her kind, calm, and always humorous presence was a given at the Mountain Laurel Gathering and touched many lives ... rest in peace, Mary Ann, and know that we will not forget you.

Love and prayers to Jack and other family members  I feel as though I have known Mary Ann forever as we traveled and participated in various music-related events.  See you in heaven, dear lady.

To all the family: I'm sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing. I knew she had been ill because I attend the class breakfasts in Chester. Mary Ann was my locker mate in high school and we both sang soprano in chorus. I remember how much she loved the opera Carmen. We used to go around the halls singing. I was notified of her passing by my younger sister on facebook. I did not hear in time for the visitation, but I wanted to extend my sympathy.

My prayers go out to the family. I remember Mary well. She was a friend to my grandparents, Babe and Eva Barnhart and my parents, Bob and Ilene.
She shared the love of local pottery with them. I can remember visiting her at the Teapot when I was young and hanging around my grandparent's store, Barnhart Pottery. She was a very kind lady. I pray for comfort for you and just know that she touched many lives that you probably will never know of.
