Betty J. Stone, 90 of Center St. in Wellsville passed away at the East Liverpool Hospital on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 following a brief illness.

Born on June 12, 1928 in Cambridge, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Susan Burgois Huff.

She was a home maker and a member of the former Wellsville Church of the Nazarene. Betty graduated from the former Chester High School.

Her husband William Stone preceded her in death.

Surviving are two children, Doug Stone of Wellsville and Connie Dixon of Kansas City, KS; one brother, Donald Huff of New Cumberland; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester.

Services are in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
