Tom and I were stationed together in the 12th Security Police Squadron at Cam Ranh Bay Air Base, Vietnam in 1969-70. He was known to us as "Stiggy". I'm not sure where that nickname came from, but it stuck with him.
Even though Stiggy and I had lost touch with each other, he was always with me in the many fond memories of our times together. He had an infectious smile and sense of humor that was impossible to forget.
My sincerest sympathies to his extended family and our mutual friends who have kept in contact with Stiggy over the years.
