William “Bill” Robert Hartley, 40, of East Liverpool, passed, Friday, July 9, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital, following a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Born, April 29, 1981, in East Liverpool, he is a son of Christina Farnsworth Byers of East Liverpool and William Hartley of Delaware, OH.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Byers, brother, Joey Hartley, maternal grandfather, George Farnsworth, and paternal grandparents, Earl, and Helen Hartley.
Bill was a graduate of Wellsville High School Class of 1999. He continued his education at the Pittsburgh Technical College studying in Culinary Arts.
He will be remembered as an outgoing, loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend who was always willing to help anyone in need. Bill enjoyed playing video games and camping. Bill had a passion for cooking, and he enjoyed trying local area restaurants but the greatest joy in his life was spending time with his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his parents and by his sons, Draven, and Briar Hartley; sister, Kristina Sosack and her husband Christopher of Wellsville, nephews, Mason and Liam Sosack, maternal grandmother, Freda Farnsworth at home; half-sister, Jada Hartley; Uncle, John Farnsworth at home; He will also be missed by many Aunts and Uncles and by his extended family, Jim and Mary Ann and PJ Sosack.
No services are planned at this time. Bill’s arrangements were entrusted by the Arner Funeral Chapel.
