William J. Stewart, 89 of Cincinnati passed away at the Hospice of Cincinnati on Friday, February 9, 2018.
Formerly of Chester, he was born here on September 14, 1928. He was a son of the late Nicholas Lee and Jessie Aida Warrick Stewart.
Bill retired as a salesman for Youngstown Sheet and Tube, and he attended the Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of Chester High School, and Bill received his Bachelor’s Degree from Kent State University where he was an active member of the Phi Gamma Theta Fraternity. Also, Bill was a 60-year member of the Fraternal order of Masons.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Norma Jean Stewart, his sister’s, Sue Ludovici and Rachel Allison, and his brother, Nick Stewart.
Survivors include his daughter of Cincinnati, Susan L. Davis and his granddaughter, Allison L. Davis, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Tuesday, February 13, from 6-8 p.m. Grave side services will be held at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
