Victoria Lynn Foley

Victoria Lynn Myers Foley, 74, passed peacefully in her sleep on March 30, 2024, after a courageous journey with cancer.
Born, on May 2, 1949, to the late Thomas and Patricia Myers and was raised in New Cumberland, WV. She graduated in 1967 from Oak Glen High School. Vicky married the love of her life, George Foley on May 3, 1969.
Vicky’s most cherished job was being a mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Family was Vicky’s passion, and she was happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She and George enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and going to the casino. She especially loved spending time with Cooper, her dog, and faithful companion. She always put others first and always made sure that her family knew they were loved, taken care of, and happy. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was selfless and had an enormous heart full of love. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was one of a kind! All will miss her beautiful smile, her colorful words, and her opinion(s) whether you liked them or not.
Vicky is survived by her husband, George Foley of New Manchester, WV.; son, Jeff (Claudia) Foley of Charlestown, IN.; daughter, Stephanie (Clay) Fryer of New Manchester, WV.; grandchildren, Tori Fryer of New Cumberland, WV., Joey Lambright of New Cumberland, WV., Maddie Foley, Logan McCutchen, Seth McCutchen, Nick McCutchen all of Charlestown, IN. She is also survived by her sister, Valerie (Sam) Mangual; niece, Samatha (Justin) Wasko; aunts, Sara Bondo, Mary (Ronald) Weekley and many cousins.
Vicky would like to give a special thanks to her granddaughter, Tori Fryer. Thank you for everything you’ve done. You were my strength through all of this. I love you forever.
A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, April 27th at 2pm at the Immaculate Conception Church in New Cumberland. Vicky’s arrangements were entrusted with the Arner Funeral Chapel.
