Victoria L. Barton, passed at her home in Chester on Friday, November 6, 2020, after dealing with cancer for the past two years. She was surrounded by her family who had been providing loving, compassionate care continually during her illness.
A daughter of Catherine Stacey Haught of Colorado and the late James B. Haught Sr., Vicki was born on April 17, 1959, in East Liverpool.
A 1977 graduate of Oak Glen High School, she was a member of the North Side Community Church. Vicki worked as a nurse’s aide in the home health field.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Araya, and Ray-Lynn Barton.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ray Barton, her children, Katrina (Jacob) Rodgers of Calcutta, Ashlee Click of Baxter, WV., and Jonathan (Breanna) Barton of Calcutta; her sister, Tressa (Joel) Reyes of Dallas, TX., and her brothers, James B. (Rachael) Haught Jr. of Massillon, OH., and Bruce Haught of Chester. Four very-special grandchildren, Barry A. and Elliana Barton, and Kyle & Tyler Rodgers also survive. She will also be missed by her nieces, Sierra Reyes and Katie Haught and nephews Joe Reyes and James Haught.
Vicki’s pastor, Larry Rose will celebrate her life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Monday, November 9, at 3:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
