Traci R. (Jackson) Watson

Traci R. Watson, 51, of Chester, passed away, at East Liverpool City Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, May 8, 2020, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born, December 11, 1968, in East Liverpool, she is a daughter of Robert A. and Virginia Johnson Jackson of Chester.

She was a 1987 graduate of Oak Glen High School, where she was active in extracurricular activities. Traci was a majorette and she played, basketball, volleyball, and track. Following graduation, she attended Fairmont State University.

Traci had an adventurous spirit, she enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach, Panama City Beach, and cruising the world. Traci spent over 20 years stock car racing with the love of her life, Mike   She loved being outdoors, hiking or just simply going for a ride in the car, but one thing she did NOT like was ziplining.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Michael L. Watson, whom she married on March 15, 1991. Traci will also be missed by her stepson, Christopher Watson of Weirton; brother, Robert Jackson of Lakewood, OH.; sister, Jodi Owen and her husband Richard of Vanport, PA.; nieces and nephew that she loved as her own, Brianne and Lynzi Owen and Dominic Jackson; mother-in-law, Sue Sayre of Weirton; sister-in-law’s, Crystal Cunningham and her husband Thomas of Newell, Tammy Cooper of Weirton and April Lowery of Buckhannon, WV. and her fur baby, Artimis.

Pastor Rick Dawson will celebrate Traci’s life, Monday, May 11, 2020, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, at 1:00 PM. Friends may visit with her family two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
