Tom Lebec, passed away peacefully, December 20, 2021, with his wife, Rosalie by his side.
Born, January 3, 1949, in Sewickley, PA. he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary O’palka Lebec.
He graduated from Ambridge High School and attended Salem College on a golf scholarship. He graduated from Salem College at the age 20 with a degree in Library Science and Business. Tom taught and coached at Hancock County Schools for 35 years. In early retirement, Tom enjoyed traveling to different parts of the country with Rosalie at his side. He enjoyed a long road trip to visit family and friends. He often traveled with his two sons, daughter-in-law, and grandsons.
Tom immensely enjoyed running into former students around Chester. His hobbies were golfing and watching the Steelers and Mountaineers play football and he loved spending time with his 2 grandsons.
Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rosalie Vogel Lebec; sons, Brian Lebec of Chester and Denny Lebec and his wife, Amanda Toney Lebec of Mount Lebanon, PA.; grandsons, Cole and Owen Lebec and brother, Richard Lebec and his wife, Nancy of Ambridge.
Visitation will be held, Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Arner Funeral Chapel, from noon-2:00PM and 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Private burial will take place at Locust Hill Cemetery.
