Thomas Henry “T.H. Fisher, 65 of East Liverpool passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Monday, January 27, 2020, due to natural causes.
TH was born in Calcutta on July 27, 1954, to the late Frank and Jo Ann (Parker) Fisher.
TH’s surviving family members are his sister, Linda Fisher Creaturo; his brothers, Frank “Buddy” Fisher Jr. and his wife Linda Jean, and Mike Fisher and his wife Bert, all of Calcutta.
Everyone knew his name. T.H. didn’t know a stranger. He always had a smile to give and a hug to share. He touched many lives by his friendly personality and big heart. He was loved dearly by his family and numerous friends. A free spirit, he loved adventure, heading to California following school. Much later in life, he sacrificed much, serving as the main caretaker for his elderly parents.
Just like his friendship “sincere” and “true”, his love for the Cleveland Browns was unending. He enjoyed sports, good laughs, conversation and the simple things in life. Born and raised in Calcutta, life wasn’t complicated and that’s what he knew and loved. After hearing a Word at church in the fall of 2016, based on a movie series, Star Wars, it opened his eyes to receive the light in Christ that was available to him. T.H. choose to accept Christ and followed his decision through baptism. Like the song goes” I hope you dance” T.H. is dancing today! He is no longer suffering, in any pain and with his mom and dad in the best place anyone can be “Heaven”. John 14:2 “In my father’s house are many rooms. I wouldn’t tell you this unless it was true.”
In light of uncontrollable family circumstances, a private graveside service will be planned for a later date. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting the family with these arrangements. Condolences and memories of T.H. may be posted to Arner’s website.
