Theodore "Ted" Farnsworth

Together Again

                     Theodore William Farnsworth Sr., husband of Margaret Ann (Gainer) Farnsworth, passed on Wednesday, August 26th after a short battle with cancer.               

Son of the late Reginald Stervont & Clara Blanche Farnsworth, born in East Liverpool, Ohio July 18, 1935.  He lived here all his life.

He attended school in East Liverpool.  He served in the Navy. He worked for Hall China Company, East Liverpool, OH; Homer Laughlin China Company, Newell, WV; Taylor Smith & Taylor Company, Chester, WV; Crucible Steel, Midland, PA for 23 ½ yrs. and Assembly of God Church for 10 years under Pastor Beck and Pastor Davis.

Mr. Farnsworth was a member of Destiny House Assembly of God Church Calcutta, Ohio.

He is survived by his four children; Ted (Fran)Farnsworth Jr., and Beth Darby and companion Mike Lowers of East Liverpool, OH; Mrs. Susan Murphy of Huntington, WV; Phillip (Brenda) Farnsworth of Salem, OH. There are 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are 3 sisters, Mrs. Dee (Bob) Solis, San Antonio, TX; Mrs. Sandy (Richard) Griffin, East Liverpool, OH; Mrs. Sharon (Pete) Johnson, Wellsville, OH.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, of 59yrs; three children; Robert, Mark, and Timothy P. Farnsworth; brother, Reginald (Pat) Farnsworth; sister, and brother-in-law, Regina, and David Frye; sister Mrs. Jerilyn (Wayne) Seevers; son-in-law, Thomas (Susan) Murphy and son-in-law Jay Darby.

A private service is being held for the family at Shadow Lawn cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Hospice of the Valley.

A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting with these arrangements.
