Stephanie Y. (Micheals) Laux

Stephanie Y. Micheals Laux, 45, of Kent, OH., formerly of Chester, passed away with her family by her side, Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Altercare, following a brief illness.

Born, September 6, 1972, in East Liverpool, she is a daughter of Susan Moore of Chester and David Micheals of Chester.

She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carl & Betty Wildman; paternal grandparents, Guy and Caroline Micheals; aunts, Carolyn Marie Micheals and Barbara Cozic and uncle, Stephen Smith.

Stephanie was a 1990 graduate of Oak Glen High School.

She formerly worked for the Ohio Crime Lab as a Forensic Scientist.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Zachary Grooms, Alec Bennett, Britny Smith, Zoe Grooms, Claire Laux and Lily Bennett all of Kent, OH.; Fiance, Damin Bennett of Kent; brother, Brandon Moore of Chester; grandchildren, Lenorah Pavich and David Smith and by many cousins.

Pastor David Van Buskirk will celebrate Stephanie’s life, Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at the Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 2-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM.
