Sandra "Missy" (Covert) Boris

Sandra “Missy” Covert Boris, 64, of Chester, passed suddenly, Saturday, July 29, 2023, at her residence.

Born May 8, 1959, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Gene and Delma Cunningham Covert.

Missy was a graduate of Oak Glen High School in 1977. She owned and trained thoroughbred racehorses at Mountaineer Racetrack.

Missy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boris.

She will be missed by her brother, Russell Covert of Meridian, MS., and sister, Lora Ojeda, and her husband, Chapmanville, WV.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Sunday, August 6, at 5:00 p.m. at the Chester American Legion. She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
