Sandra Turkalj

Sandra “Sandee” Turkalj, 75, of Chester, passed unexpectedly, on Monday, April 8, 2024, at her residence, following a sudden illness.

Born on March 14, 1949, in Henderson, KY., she was the daughter of the late Junius and Agnes Damrath Pulliam.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tim, Jim, and Denny Pulliarm.

Sandee was a faithful Christian and former member of the New Covenant of Grace Church. She formerly owned and operated her own cleaning company.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, Bryan Marquardt of Evansville, IN., and Craig Turkalj and his wife, Charlene of Massillon, OH.; grandchildren, Weston and Robert Turkalj, Caleb Marquardt and Hayle Book and one great-granddaughter. 

Per Sandee’s wishes, no services are planned at this time. She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
