Sally R. Watson, a lifelong resident of Chester passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family at her side on Sunday, April 5, 2020, after a year-long battle with cancer.
71 years old, Sally was born in East Liverpool on February 26, 1949. She was a daughter of the late Homer and Jean Bennett Logston.
Sally was a floor attendant at Mountaineer Gaming Resort for over 20 years. A 1968 graduate of Oak Glen High School, she was a member of the Virginia Avenue Church of Christ. Sally had been active with the Festival of Tree’s committee in Chester.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Donna Bebout Ellis and her husband Jonathan of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, her son Dave (Pood) Bebout and his companion Shirley Mercer of Wellsville; her sisters, Sandy Sayre of Inwood, WV., and Sue (Joe) Collins of Chester, and her grandchildren, Nathan and Ashleigh Bebout, Abagail O’Rourke, Evan and Matthew Ellis, and Jaidyn Bebout. Also, Sally leaves several nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Kathy Shannon and her husband Steve.
In fulfilling her wishes, cremation will take place, and a memorial service will be planned and announced at a date to determined. She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
