Rodney W. McHorney, 70, of East Liverpool, passed, Sunday, September 20, 2020, at his home, following a lengthy illness.
Born, May 25, 1950, in Maple, NC., he is a son of the late, Curtis McHorney and Dorothy Sawyer Keating.
Rodney was a proud United States Marine Veteran. He was a model of reliability dedicating many years of employment at BASF, until his retirement.
He was a member of the Tri-State Coon Hunter’s Club. Rodney enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, and guns.
Rodney was a very kind and gentle soul, friendly to all he met, he will be deeply missed by his son, Rodney McHorney of East Liverpool; step-daughters, Heather Johnston and her husband Shawn of East Liverpool and Shannon Ross of East Liverpool; brother, George “Billy” McHorney, and his companion Diane Reddick of Cadillac, MI.; companion, Nina Graves of Wellsville; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Arner Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, September 23, 2020, from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM. Military honors will be provided at 8:00 PM.
