Obituary
Robert H. Porter Jr., passed at the East Liverpool City Hospital on Friday, April 21, 2023, following a lengthy illness.
Robbie was 58 years old and born in East Liverpool on May 27, 1964. He was the son of the late Robert H. Porter Sr. and Sandra Crawford Plumley Porter.
Robbie worked at several area businesses throughout his career including Homer Laughlin China, and US Air, he was a supervisor in hospitality at Mountaineer Racetrack and Gaming Resort and tended bar at the Oasis. He graduated from East Liverpool High School and played guitar in several local bands. Music was always included in a conversation with Robbie.
Along with his parents, his brother, Randy Plumley, and his sister, Crystal Plumley Muscari preceded him in death.
Survivors include his brother, Richard A. Plumley of East Liverpool, his nephew, Mike Plumley of Galloway, OH, his cousin, Connie Barker of East Liverpool, and additional nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
No services are planned, and he will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery. Robbie is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
