East Liverpool, OH.
Robert C. (Bob) Kidd Jr. of East Liverpool passed peacefully at his home on Friday, December 2, 2022, following a lengthy illness.
Bob was the son of the late Robert C. Kidd Sr. and Jean D. Tittle Kidd. He was born in East Liverpool on May 13, 1944. He was 78 years old.
Bob retired as a Master Sargent from the US Air Force where he was a computer programing specialist. While in the Air Force, Bob was called by the Lord and became an ordained minister. Upon returning to his hometown, he worked for 20 years as a caseworker at Job and Family Services in Lisbon. Bob then found his true calling and became the staff Chaplain at East Liverpool City Hospital and several area nursing homes.
Prior to joining the Air Force, he graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1962. Bob will be remembered for many things. He was always a tinkerer, and never afraid to accept a new challenge. A huge lover of pets, he loved fishing, woodwork, golf, craft, spending time outdoors, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. Also, Bob was a member of the East Liverpool American Legion Post 374.
Devastated by his loss is his wife, Pamela Strum Kidd, his children, Stephen Lozier of San Antonio, TX., Mark (Cheryl) Lozier of St. Catherine’s, Ontario Canada, Kimmie Sue (Jeffery) Abbott of East Liverpool and Karyn (Steven) Locke of East Liverpool. His loving grandchildren are Sean Lozier, Daniel Diotte, Courtney Diotte, Cecilia Locke, Krista Beadnell (John) Pine, Andrew (Liz) Martinez, Karina Martinez, and Molly Ramirez, and one great-grandchild, Viviana Martinez. In addition, he is also survived by his sister Carole Ann Graham
