Obituary
Richard J. Crowder, 90, of East Liverpool, passed, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Born February 25, 1933, in Weirton, he was the son of the late Raymond D. and Mable E. Geer Crowder. Richard retired from Crucible Steel in Midland, Pennsylvania.
He dedicated his life to the Lord and served as Pastor at the Church of God of Prophecy. Richard currently attended Church at the Living Well Church in Wellsville.
He will be missed by his son, Stephen Crowder (Chris); daughter, Melanie Smith (Lyle) all of East Liverpool and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel Hartt Crowder; daughter, Yvonne Spencer; sister, Pricilla Knox; and brother Raymond Crowder Jr.
Pastor Dirk Hall will celebrate Richard’s life, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel, at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends may visit with his family, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the funeral home from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
