Pennie L. Zehnder

Pennie L. Zehnder, 61, of East Liverpool, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice Heritage Valley Beaver, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born September 21, 1961, in Wichita Falls, TX., She was the daughter of William S. (Carol) Murray and the Late Donna J. Shakleford Robertson.

Pennie was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Murray.

She attended East Liverpool High School and worked for several years at A&I Studio as Director.

Pennie was a community-oriented volunteer, she was a member of the Moose Lodge #642, the Orioles Nest #169, a past Lady Elk officer (12yrs), a past political district chairperson (10yrs), a past Columbiana County school district child assault prevention program chairperson/ leader, past PTA president (5yrs), East Liverpool's got Tallent President/Chairperson & Media Liaison, as well as being a part of organizing many community projects, such as Edutech Corridor, EduPalooza, CGI, and New Castle School of trades East Liverpool.

She will be deeply missed by her Daughter, Heidi J. Zehnder (David Carlin) of East Liverpool; Son, John M. Zehnder (Tiffany Thompson) of Industry PA.; Companion, Eric Koren, of East Liverpool; Grandchildren, Elijah Carlin, Angela Zehnder, Kaitlyn Zehnder, Jenna Thompson, Travis Thompson, Asher Foster; Brother, William (Jonda) Murray of Bradenton Florida; Sister, Lisa (Jeff) Elliott of Lisbon OH.; Ex-Husband and friend, Mark Zehnder; Step Brother, Steven Finch; Nephew's, Jason Elliott, Jim(Stephanie)Elliott, Sean Murray; Niece's, Erin Murray-Dyce, Kristen (Ryan) Bergeron.

Per Pennie's wishes, no services are planned at this time. She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
