Norman S. Phillips, 87, of East Liverpool, passed peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2020, following a lengthy illness.
Born, December 1, 1932, in Youngstown, he was a son of the late George and Margaret Smith Phillips.
Norman was a proud member of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He later retired as a Stationary Engineer from First Energy. He was a member of the Northside Community Church.
Norman will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Kitti Springer Wilson Phillips; sons, Daniel Thomas and Norman David of Austintown and James of Germany; daughters, Cheryl Ann and Mary Grace of Austintown, and Peggy Ann of Cortland; step-daughters, Pamela Wilson of Lisbon and Kim (Rex) McCoy of Negley; a brother, George (June) Phillips of Youngstown; and several grand and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for a later date at the Northside Community Church. Inurnment will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park. The Arner Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with Norman’s care.
