Norma Pearl Porter

Norma P. Porter, 89 of East Liverpool passed on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at the Calcutta Health Care Center where she had resided for the past year and a half.

Born in New Cumberland on December 7, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lavada Metz Tice.

Norma had worked as an admissions clerk at the former Waterford Park Racetrack and retired from Mountaineer Racetrack and Gaming Resort.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Porter; her daughter, Carol L. Parsons; and her brother, Dale Wayne Tice.

Norma leaves her son-in-law, Joseph Parsons of East Liverpool; her granddaughters, Michelle (Barry) Lane of Wellsville, and Melissa (Mike) Cannon of East Liverpool; her great-grandchildren, Lexi Ammon, Lindsay Ammon, Olivia Mitchell, and Karlee Cannon; her great-great-grandson, Brantley Gotschall; and one very close friend, Mary Robinson.

Private interment will be held at the New Cumberland Cemetery and the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting the family with these arrangements.
