Nona Hicks

Nona M. Hicks, 67 of Lisbon, passed, Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the Salem Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.  

Born, February 18, 1956, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of the late Walter N. And June Byers Rice.   

Nona was a proud homemaker raising her two sons. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching but loved nothing more than spending time with her family.   

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 49 years, David Hicks; her sons Michael (Loretta Stoffel) Hicks of Lisbon and Bobby (Tara) Hicks of Negley; her grandchildren Brandon (Autumn) Jackson, Adara (Jack) Ress, Ciera, Gage, and Savannah Hicks; her great-grandchildren Isabella Hicks and Jack Ress as well as numerous siblings and friends.    

A celebration of life will be held this Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Scenic Vista Park on Waynebridge Road in Lisbon.   Please join us in celebrating Nona!
