Nancy F. Smith, 63, of East Liverpool, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Born, May 11, 1958, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Ross Adams and Margaret Ann Adams (Danver). Nancy is now reunited with her mother whom she missed with her entire heart and soul.
Nancy was also preceded in death by her brother, Kenny Boy Adam’s; sister-in-laws, Suzie Adams and Elise Roach and her beloved beagle, Daisy Mae.
Nancy was a graduate of East Liverpool City High School Class of 1976. Nancy was a standout Potter Athlete. She furthered her education at Kent State University receiving an associate degree in Education.
Nancy taught Pre School at Cherished Children’s for many years. Her passion and love for the kids were a bright light in her life. She was fun-loving and outgoing. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and she simply adored her granddaughter, Lainey. Nancy held a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She was an avid Buckeye fan and enjoyed cheering on her Potters. Nancy enjoyed being outdoors but her favorite place was at the beach where she enjoyed the peace and sunshine.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter: Katie Smith, and her fiancé Michael Miller of East Liverpool, her two sons: Robert Smith and his fiancé Alyssa Wolfe of East Liverpool, and Adam Smith, also of East Liverpool. Surviving are her three brothers, Bill Adams of Pittsburgh, Jim Adams, and his wife Karen of East Liverpool, Rich Adams and his wife Penny of Adairsville, GA.; grandchildren: Lainey, Daniel, and Noah. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, also her lifelong friend, Lisa Dailey-Arcure along with her childhood “East End Friends”.
We will celebrate her life, Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, WV. Friends may visit with her family, Monday, May 24, 2021, at the funeral home, from 2:00-8:00 PM.
