Nancy Lee Lane Linger, 77, of Pittsburgh, passed, Sunday, September 5, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born, November 18, 1943, in Hookstown, PA., she was the daughter of the late Chris and Goldie Norman Lane.
She was also preceded in death by her son, David Lee Linger, sister, Betty Pearson, brothers, James Lane, Hutch, and Art Norman, and by her granddaughter, Camay Youngblood.
Nancy worked for many years in home health care. She enjoyed puzzles, watching game shows and John Wayne movies, playing bingo, and collecting John Wayne and basset hound dog figurines. Nancy’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and she simply adored her grandchildren.
Nancy will be missed by her children, Rebecca Paris, and her husband Joe of Weirton, Christina Towele-Eden of South Carolina, Diane Snyder of Virginia Beach, Lynette Lovett of Florida, Candy Cogdell and her husband, Darrell of Pittsburgh, and Ed Lee Linger of Pittsburgh; 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, WV., from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM.
