Obituary
Nadine Estella Haigh Ord, 86 of Chester, passed at Pam Health at Heritage Valley Hospital in Beaver on Sunday, May 21, 2023, following a brief illness.
Nadine was born December 8, 1936, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Alfred Archibald and Dora Burd Haigh.
Nadine was a beloved mother and Nana.
In addition to her parents, her husband, George W. Ord, brothers, Ralph, and Alfred (Butch) Haigh, and sister, Virginia Haigh Johndrew preceded her in death.
Nadine is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Jim) Monastra of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, her son, William (Linda) Ord of Port Mansfield, TX, two grandsons, Jared (Cassie) Ord of Magnolia, TX, and Jason Ord and Lindsey Stoyanoff of Pittsburgh, PA, and two great-grandchildren, Zion Ord, and Caleigh Klecka of Magnolia, TX. Also surviving is her sister, Jean Haigh Spik, and three sisters-in-law, Mikie Haigh, Kathy Haigh, and Marilyn Ord Bethea.
Pastor Dan Cesene of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Chester will celebrate Nadine’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Tuesday, May 23, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with her family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
