Melissa A. Monte

Melissa Ann Monte, 54, of East Liverpool, passed away, Sunday, December 23, 2018, at the East Liverpool City Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

Born, July 17, 1964, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late John and Ila Smith McDougle.

She was a 1983 graduate of East Liverpool High School.

Melissa was the life of the party and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her granddaughter, Alexa.

She is survived by her husband, Jon Christopher Monte; daughter, Jacki Ferguson of Wellsville; brothers, Clark Fleming of Siler City, NC., Dwayne Fleming of East Liverpool and Michael McDougle and his wife Melinda of East Liverpool; sister, Rebecca Cunningham and her husband Mark of East Liverpool.

Melissa was preceded in death by her son, Rancy Ferguson.

Melissa's life will be celebrated on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, at 4:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service, from 2:00PM-4: 00 PM.
