Maryann Degarmo

Maryann Degarmo, 74, of Steubenville, passed, Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Trinity Hospital in Steubenville, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born, on April 1, 1948, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Mildred Mills Arnette.

Maryann was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Degarmo; son, Kevin Michael Bunnell; grandson, Jacob Bunnell, brothers, Rick, Bill, and Jerry Arnette, and her sister, Jane Green-Hargraves.

She was a homemaker and raised her family, but was also an In-Home Day Care Provider, caring for the youth of the area. Maryann was an outgoing, fun-loving woman with a great sense of humor. In her downtime, she could be found decorating her home, working on new craft projects, baking, and cooking. Above all, she loved and surrounded herself with her family.

Maryann will be deeply missed by her daughters, Clarissa Wright of Steubenville and Amy Wells of East Liverpool; son, Dewey Bunnell of Seattle, WA.; brothers, John Arnette of East Liverpool, and Bob Hargraves of Wellsville; grandchildren, Dewey Bunnell IV, Evan Dotson, Hunter Dotson, Cameron Bunnell, Tyler Bunnell, Abigail Bunnell, Isabella Wright, Shane Darby, Kaidan Darby, Noah Mueller and Kily Wright; great-grandchildren, Damien Bunnell, Arthur Bunnell, Elijah Bunnell, Everleigh Cassidy, Hazel Bernardi, Nevaeh Bernardi and Abel Benardi and several nieces and nephews.

Pastor Mike Dyer will celebrate Maryann’s life Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel, at 11 AM. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home, Monday, April 3, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
