Mary M. McKnight, 58 of East Liverpool passed peacefully at her home in East Liverpool, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, October 18, 2020, after being diagnosed with cancer eleven months ago.

Born in East Liverpool on October 14, 1962, Mary was the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” and Elizabeth “Libby” McMillan Pickering.

She last worked at her “favorite job”, a baker at L&B Donuts in East Liverpool. Mary had formerly worked as a floor attendant at Mountaineer Gaming Resort, and the Cactus Club in Chester. She was a Catholic by faith. Her most precious memories were made by hosting and cooking family events. Mary’s favorite pastime was watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel.

She will be deeply missed by her loving family, her children, Maria (Josh Barrick) Pickering of East Liverpool, Michelle (Dane) Florio of Simi Valley, CA., and Charles (Meg Smith) Walker of East Liverpool; her siblings, Helen Doherty, Joyce (John) Blanchard, and Robert (Patricia) Pickering of East Liverpool, and Steve Pickering of Pico Rivera, CA; and her grandchildren, Johnathan, Peyton, Natalie, and Landon.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Tuesday, October 20, where they will be present from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Private interment will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park in East Liverpool. Due to concerns of Covid 19, it has been requested that face masks be worn.
