Mary C. Davis

Mary C. Davis, 89, of East Liverpool, passed, Thursday, October 7, 2021, surrounded by her family, at East Liverpool City Hospital, following a brief illness.

Born, January 22, 1932, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Edward and Florence Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Davis, and by her brothers, Ed, Richard, James, and Donald Ryan, and sisters, Pat McFarland, Peg Thomas, and Becky Merriman and her fur baby, Bailey.  

Mary was a graduate of Wellsville High School Class of 1949. She retired from Hall China Company where she worked for many years in the color room. She had attended St Aloysius Catholic Church, for several years.

She enjoyed playing the slots, watching sports especially the Pittsburgh Pirates but the most important thing to her was spending time with her family. 

 Mary will be deeply missed by her sons, Robert Davis and his wife Cindy, Sean Davis, and Timothy Davis all of East Liverpool; sister, Joyce Ruble of East Liverpool. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, McKenzie Dotson, and her husband, Evan, Emily Davis, Mary E. Davis, Mavis Davis (Jesse Pancake), Robert Davis Jr, and Catherine Davis.; great-grandchildren, Sophia Dotson and Jaiya Pancake, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Parish Church in East Liverpool on, Friday, October 15, 2021, at 10:00 am, Father Leo Wehrlin will preside. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Wellsville.

Visitation will be held, Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Arner Funeral Chapel, from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM.
