Marvann A. Plumley, 71, a lifelong resident of East Liverpool, passed at the East Liverpool City Hospital on Monday, July 25, 2022, from a difficult battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of the late Marvin and June Heddleston Wooley. Marvann was born in East Liverpool on October 24, 1950.
Past students and staff will remember Marvann as an outstanding teacher at West Point and Beaver Local Middle Schools where she taught for thirty years. She was a member of the East Liverpool Methodist Church, a 1968 graduate of East Liverpool High School, and she received her BA in education from Marshall University in 1972. Marvann was the past auxiliary president at both Wellsville American Legion Post 70, and East Liverpool American Legion Post 374.
Along with her parents, her brother, Peter Wooley, and her first husband, Richard Kelly preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Richard Plumley of East Liverpool, her daughter, Emily (Mike) Walker of Cincinnati, OH., and her granddaughter, Sidney Kelly-Lao.
In fulfilling Marvann’s wishes, there will be no services, and she is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
