Martha E. DeCapio

Martha E. DeCapio, 98, formerly of Georgetown, PA., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at her son’s home in Georgetown, TX.

Born, February 22, 1921, in Chester, WV., she was a daughter of the late Dana and Delee Arnott Logston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony DeCapio, daughter, Rita Steele, brothers, William, Robert, Kenny, Hugh and Delmar Logston and sisters, Beatrice Sgro and Dorothy MeHaffey.

Martha’s focus on life was to be the best wife, mother, and grandmother that she could possibly be. She was a homemaker to the fullest, loving and taking care of her family by keeping a beautiful and tidy home, cooking and caring for her garden. Martha enjoyed singing and she sang every day until she wasn’t able. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and she looked forward to visiting Geneva on the Lake. Martha was a member of the United Methodist Church in Georgetown, PA.

She will be missed by her son, Anthony DeCapio and his wife Barb of Georgetown, TX; daughter, Marlene DeCapio Dover and her husband Terry of East Liverpool; sister, Francis Lee of Louisville OH.; grandchildren, Vince and Nick DeCapio, John Steele, Kerri Henderson, Kendra Dover and Jaylynn and Scarlett; and her great-grandchildren, Madison Steele and Gianna DeCapio.

Rev. Charles Adkins will celebrate Martha’s life on Monday, December 23, 2019, at 11:00 AM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit Sunday, December 22, 2019, from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Private interment will take place at Locust Hill Cemetery.
