Marilyn J. Carlier

Marilyn J. Carlier, 76, of Chester, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, March 20, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, following a sudden illness. 
Born, July 23, 1946, in Sewickley, PA., she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and Mary Campbell Lewis. 
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Carlier Sr. 
A graduate of West Allegheny High School Class of 1963. She dedicated over 50 years to working in the Automotive Industry. Marilyn sang in various Church choirs and the Mendelssohn Choir in Pittsburgh. 
She is survived by her sons, Gary “Fred” Carlier and his wife, Amy, and Andy Carlier and his wife, Erin all of Chester; grandchildren, Courtney (Trent) Diddle, and Brittany LeFevers (Jacob); one great-granddaughter, Emlia. 
Pastor Rick Anderson will celebrate Marilyn’s life Friday, March 24, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with her family Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
