Linda M. Galloway, 79, of East Liverpool, passed, Friday, March 26, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness.
Born, August 17, 1941, in Wellsville, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Goldie Furbee Zacharias. She was also preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Galloway; by her sons, Kevin, and Cecil “Butch” Galloway; twin brother, Larry Zacharias; sister, Mary Lou Dobbs and brothers, Donald, Richard, and Clarence “Skip” Zacharias.
Linda was a graduate of Wellsville High School and she later retired from Sterling China, after many dedicated years of service.
Linda was a homebody, and she was content just staying at home watching QVC and the Game Show Network. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, and watching her grandchildren. She was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
She will be deeply missed by her sons, Donald L. Galloway, and his wife Kimberly A. of North Benton, OH., Larry Galloway of Hamilton, OH., and John Galloway of East Liverpool; daughter, Tonyea VanDyke of Wellsville; brother, Fred Zacharias of Columbus. She will always be missed by her grandchildren, Stephen Davis, Donald, Robert, Larry Jr, Cody, and Conner Galloway, Nicholas O'Hanlon, Hannah VanDyke, and Andria McDole, and two great-grandchildren, Jayman and Peyton Davis.
We will celebrate Linda’s life, Monday, March 29, 2021, at 4:30 PM, at Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with her family prior to the service, from 2:00 PM-4:30 PM.
