Kayla M. Burkle-Rummell

Kayla M. Burkle Rummell, 32 of East Liverpool, passed in Columbus Ohio on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

Born in East Liverpool on September 13, 1988, Kayla was a daughter of James E. Burkle and Tina Mattern Miller and her husband Tim of East Liverpool.

Kayla was a loving stay-at-home mom to her precious daughter, Airabella. A lifelong resident, she attended Beaver Local Schools. Kayla had an adventurous soul, she loved traveling and water sports like canoeing, and boating.

Passing before her were her paternal grandparents, Ben, and Marg Burkle.

Kayla leaves her daughter, Airabella Rummell, Airabella’s father and grandfather, Josh and Ron Rummell, and her maternal grandparents, Jolinda (Ernie) Cross, and Mike Mattern. Also surviving are her aunts and uncles, Michael, and Nut Mattern, Eric and Jody Croxell, Terry and Crystal Birkhimer, Bill Burkle, Ed Burkle, and Nancy Burkle, and her cousins, Brandon and Alexis Mattern, and Hunter Mattern.

Pastor Norm Eckert will celebrate Kayla’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Thursday, April 1, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Following the Thursday Services, friends are invited to join the family for a continued time of remembrance at the East Liverpool American Legion Post 374.
