Kathryn Kirk Obituary

Kathryn D. Males Kirk, 69, of Wellsville, formerly of Louisville, KY., passed, Sunday, July 26, 2020, at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center in Columbiana.

Born, September 16, 1950, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late William Sampson and Pearl Jackson Males.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, William Kirk; brothers, William Males, and Kenneth Males and sister Elma Jean Smithers.

She was a 1969 graduate of Oak Glen High School. In her exploration, she developed a particularly good work ethic at an early age which motivated her throughout her careers and life. Over the years she worked numerous jobs, but her focus was working as a baker and chef.

Kathryn was a highly creative person and she loved people; she was outgoing, honest, dependable, and friendly.

She will be deeply missed by her brother, Larry Males of Calcutta, and Charles Males of Wellsville; sister, Cynthia Collins of Wellsville; and brother in-law Ronnie Smithers of Louisville, KY. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Kathryn’s wishes, no services will be planned. The Arner Funeral Chapel was entrusted with her arrangements.
