Kathleen Piscitani

Kathleen M. Piscitani, 72, of East Liverpool, passed, May 6th 2023, at The Orchards of East Liverpool, Ohio.

Born January 27, 1951, in Girard, OH., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Bertha “Patty” Dunn Miketa.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Ronnie Miketa.  

She was a graduate of Liberty High School Class of 1969. She continued her education at Youngstown State University receiving a master’s degree in education. Kathleen formerly taught at Jefferson Elementary School.

She married the love of her life, Joseph Piscitani on August 4,1974. Together they raised their daughter, Michelle. Kathleen loved to travel and thoroughly enjoyed her trips to Argentina, Italy, Hungary and other parts of Europe to visit family. She will be fondly remembered by many loving friends and family who knew her and her warm positive outlook on life. 

Kathleen will be deeply missed by her husband, Joe; daughter, Michelle Piscitani May and her husband, Matthew May of New Philadelphia; and brothers, Russ Miketa and his wife, Marie of Girard and Bob Miketa and his wife, Cheryl of Liberty; Beverly Miketa of Girard and many cousins in Pennsylvania.

A Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday, May 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 48 Main St. Girard, OH. 44420.Memorial visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00am-11:00am at the Church. 

In lieu of flowers  please send a card to the family residence. Directly after the mass there will be food and fellowship in the Church dining hall.
