Joyce Ann Seevers, 87, of East Liverpool, passed, Monday, June 7, 2021, at Calcutta Health Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Born, May 22, 1934, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of Clyde and Hilda Bumgard Graham. Joyce was also preceded in death by her sister, Donna Nusser.
Joyce was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1952, and she was a member of the ELHS Alumni Association.
She retired after 40 years of service from Bank One, formerly First National Bank of East Liverpool, where she was employed as the Safety Deposit Box Manager.
A former member of the Boyce United Methodist Church and current member of the North Side Community Church, Joyce’s love of faith had let her be active in many areas of both churches, including what she was most famous for, cooking.
On September 13, 1958, she married her high school sweetheart, Thomas E. Seevers who survives at home. Joyce’s life revolved around her family, her main priority was her husband, her son Craig Seevers, and his wife Denise, and her granddaughters Kayla and Alysha Seevers, who she often looked after, all of Calcutta.
Pastor Larry Rose will celebrate Joyce’s life, Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 1:00 PM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may visit with her family on Thursday, 2 hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
