John C. Myers

John C. Myers, 85, of East Liverpool, passed away on April 9, 2024, following a brief illness.

Born May 10, 1938, in Canton, Ohio, the son of the late John H. and Charlotte (Reed) Myers.  John graduated in 1956 from Lehman High School in Canton, OH, and also attended Kent State University.  John proudly served his country in the Army Reserves and was called for duty in the US Army.  John was a retired electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local # 540 for 59 years in Canton, Ohio.  He was a member of the American Legion post 121 Chester, WVa.

Surviving is his loving wife of 42 years, Linda Myers; six sons, Bill Myers of Canton, OH., Ron Myers of Canton, OH., Robert Myers of CA., Dean (Terri) Badgley of Minerva, OH., Jeff (Debbie) Badgley of  Wellsville, OH., Tom Badgley of East Liverpool OH.;  two daughters, Jennifer Badgley of East Liverpool OH., Lori Lebda of Beaver Falls PA.; a brother Jim (Arlene) Myers of Wadsworth, OH., a sister Margaret (Robert) Mauer of Friendsville, TN.; three grandsons; Michael Badgley of East Liverpool, OH.; Stephen Badgley of Steubenville, OH.; Craig Badgley of Wellsville, OH.; two granddaughters; Kristen Badgley of Chester, WV., Kasey Badgley of Salem, OH.;  two great-grandchildren, Jameson Badgley of Steubenville, OH.; Mikenzie Dietch of Chester WV.

John was preceded in death by a son-in-law John Lebda of Beaver Falls, PA.

John, lovingly known as "Pappy" never saw an animal he didn't love. He will be sadly missed by his fur babies; Gizmo, Millie, Tipsy, and Stella.

Per John's wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Arner Funeral Chapel of Chester, WV.
