Jerry L. Ice

Jerry L. Ice, 74 of East Liverpool passed away at the East Liverpool City Hospital on Friday, January 17, 2020, following several years of medical complications.

A son of Leslie and Kathleen Wilson Ice, Jerry was born in New Martinsville, WV. on March 5, 1945.

He worked at Crucible Steel in Midland until it’s closing, and retired as a department manager at the East Liverpool Wal-Mart. A graduate of East Liverpool High School, he was a member of the St. Clair Ave. Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Ice; his brother, Ricky Ice; his sister, Mary Ice; grandson, Luke Bowers; and great-granddaughter, Letta Bowers.

Surviving is his wife, Deborah Fickel Ice; his children, Douglas Bowers, Dennis Bowers, Matt Ice, Amy Bowers, Tim Ice, and Heather Ice; brother, Stanley Ice of East Liverpool. Also, surviving are thirteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

In fulfilling Jerry’s wishes, no services are planned, and he is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
