Jamie L. VanFosson

Jamie L. VanFosson, 63, of East Liverpool passed away at Heritage Valley Medical Center in Beaver on Saturday, April 18, 2020, following a lengthy illness.

Born in East Liverpool on November 11, 1956, he was a son of the late Thomas VanFosson and Shirley Anthony Rue.

Jamie was well known as an excellent mechanic, and he had worked at several auto dealerships throughout the area. A lifetime resident of East Liverpool, he had attended East Liverpool schools.

Jamie leaves his children, Dustin VanFosson of Austintown, and Heather Barnhouse of Amsterdam, OH; and his siblings, Thomas VanFosson of Illinois, Tim (Marcie) VanFossen of East Liverpool, Dennis VanFosson of Kansas, Brian (Candie Caine) of California, William Rue of California, Connie Klein (TC. Summers) of California, and Charlene Morris of California. Also, surviving are four grandchildren, Duncan and Seth Hildebrand, and Colton and Jayden Barnhouse. He will also be missed by his two adopted sons, that he loved like his own, Terry and Shawn Harpold. 

A memorial service is being planned for a later date. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting with these arrangements.
