James "Jazzo" Migliore Obituary

James “Jazzo” Migliore, 82, of East Liverpool, passed, Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Weirton.

Born, September 19, 1938, in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late James V. Sr. and Edna Chancey Migliore. Jazzo was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Morgan.

Jazzo was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1956. He was employed at the former Waterford Park in the Mutuel Department, and he later retired in 2001 from Mountaineer Racetrack and Casino.

Jazzo had a passion for horseracing, he enjoyed collecting memorabilia and talking about the “good old days”. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and grabbing a bite to eat at Yolonda’s Restaurant. Most of all he enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

He will be deeply missed by his son, Shane Migliore of Broken Arrow, OK.; daughters, Susan Cline of Broken Arrow, OK. Alicia Burke of Arizona.; sister, Harriet “Honey” Winland and he will also be missed by many friends.

Per Jazzo’s wishes, private interment will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville.
