James L. Loughley

James L. Loughley Sr. of East Liverpool, passed at the Summa Akron Hospital on Friday, May 6, 2022, after recently being diagnosed with cancer.

He was the son of Robert Loughley of Wellsville and the late Thelma Gatrell Loughley. Jim was born in East Liverpool on December 29, 1959. He was 62 years old.

He formerly worked for various Industrial cleaning companies. Jim’s favorite pastime was listening to music.

Along with his father, he is survived by his children, James L. Loughley Jr. of Cleveland, and Amy Brown of Charleston, SC., his sister, Diana Burns of East Liverpool, and his brother, Robert W. Loughley of Wellsville, and one granddaughter, Allison.

Services will be held in the Chapel at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester on Wednesday, May 11, at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow. These services have been entrusted to the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
