Harold "Butch" McDole Sr.

Harold “Butch” McDole Sr,63, passed away peacefully at home in Chester, February 6, 2020.

Born, September 14, 1956, in Weirton, he was a son of the late Harry Sr. and Shirley Six McDole.

He was devoted to his family and friends. A kind and gentle soul who took pride in helping those around him. He loved to travel and be adventurous. Butch lived in Alaska, Colorado and he moved back to Chester in 2004. He helped his mom take care of daughter, Donna McDole-Mick and his grandson. After his mother’s death in 2009, he continued her legacy of caring for his grandson Chance Brennan.

He is survived by eight children and many grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brothers, Oscar, Daniel and Jeff of Anchorage, Alaska, Anthony Hargerty and other family siblings. Sisters, Cheryl Scalf, Charlotte Owens of Anchorage, AK, and Diana McDole Davis.

Preceding him death were two brothers, Thurman and Harry McDole Jr.

Friends may visit with his family, Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Millcreek Hill Cemetery in Hookstown, PA.
