Obituary

Gene A. Lytton, 91 of Newell, passed Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester.

Born, on January 1, 1932, in Newell, he was the son of the late Harry and Gladys Hutchinson Lytton.

Gene was a graduate of Wells High School Class of 1950. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

He retired from Hancock County School District where he worked as a bus driver. Gene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Newell and a member of the Newell Volunteer Fire Department serving over 40 years.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Louis Nagy and his wife, Tracy of Chester, Rick Nagy of Newell, and Jeff Nagy and his wife, Elizabeth of Morgantown; daughters, Robyn Huffman and her husband, Rich of Chester and Jodi Headley and her husband, Larry of Chester and sister, Nelda Wheeldon. 

Gene was preceded in death by his first wife, Deloris Fodrey Lytton, second wife, Betty Nagy Lytton; brother, Charles Lytton.

Celebration of life will held at the American Legion in Newell, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
