Gary L. McLeish, 74, of Empire, passed, Friday, October 1, 2021, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Born, October 30, 1946, in Steubenville, he was a son of the late George C. and Ruth Masters McLeish.
Gary was a graduate of Wintersville High School and he was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce. He later retired from the Sammis Plant in Stratton, where he worked as a Control Room Operator.
He was a member of the American Legion Post#86 in Toronto and he was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Steubenville. Gary had a special love for music, he enjoyed being a DJ and singing karaoke.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Anne Trewolla; son, Doug McLeish, and his wife Angel of Columbus. stepson, Devon Search, and stepdaughter, Kelsey Search; grandchildren, Ethan and Brandon McLeish and Journi Fuller and brother, William McLeish of Wintersville.
Per Gary’s wishes, no services are planned at this time. He is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
