Gale E. Allen

Gale E. Allen, 51 of East Liverpool passed on Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Born in East Liverpool on December 26, 1969, Gale was the son of Daniel Allen Jr. and Linda Hissam Allen of East Liverpool.

There were many important things in Gale’s life, family, and friends that he treated like family. A lover of the outdoors, and nature, hunting was his thing. But above all of these was his grandson, Emmett Sage, and his children, Dillon, and Hunter Allen of East Liverpool.

For the past 23 years, Gale has worked as a press operator for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and he was a regular at the East Liverpool Moose and Orioles Club.

In addition to his children and parents, Gale leaves the mother of his children, Rhonda Cain Allen, his life-companion, April Mettenberger, his siblings, Daniel (Leann) Allen III, David (Deena) Allen, Brian (Kim) Allen of East Liverpool, and Crystal (David) Buchner of Wellsville, and his soon to be born granddaughter, Gracelynn.

Pastor George White and Gale’s family and friends will celebrate his life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Tuesday, February 23, at 7:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit with Gale’s family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Following the services, his family and friends will gather at the East Liverpool Moose for a continued time of remembrance.
