Flora Lee Mitchell

Flora Lee "Flo" Mitchell, 90, formally of Chester WV went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2021, following a brief illness.  She passed away peacefully at her home in Ocala, Florida.

 Born on September 21, 1930, in Smithfield, Pa, she was the daughter of the late William H. Slate and Leota M (Hardin) Slate.

 Flo was preceded in death by her husband, Frank N. Mitchell in 2010.  She was also preceded by her son-in-law Guy Clegg, Jr., and granddaughter Denean Burroughs.

After Frank's retirement in 1989, they set out in their travel trailer for their adventure, eventually settling in Ocala.  She enjoyed crocheting, collecting, puzzles and spending time with her Chihuahua, Lady.

 She will be missed by her children, Susan Clegg of Masontown, PA, Ronald Phillips (Cathy) of Gainesville, GA, Sandra Corrion (Glenn) of Bay City, MI, Brenda Leeds (Ken) of Millville NJ, Kelley Mitchell (Anita) of Salem, OH, and Terry Mitchell of Ocala FL who was also her caregiver.

She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Stacy, Amanda, Nathan, Rachel, Emily, Timmy, Kenny, Shaun, Tiffany, Aaron, Joshua and Brandon.  She also had 12 Great-grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, Flo will be cremated, and no services will be observed.
