Edward H. Sprouse

Edward H. Sprouse, 59, of Lisbon, passed, Thursday, January 6, 2022, with the love of his family surrounding him, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born, October 24, 1962, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Harry G. and Lora Derenberger Sprouse.

Eddie attended Beaver Local High School and worked for many years as a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on cars, and hunting. Eddie dedicated many years coaching Little Beaver’s football and summer league baseball. He found great joy following his children’s sporting events over the years.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Joyce Hilton Sprouse; sons, Edward H. Sprouse II and Dustin Sprouse both of Lisbon; daughter, Jessica Hilton of Campbell, OH.; brothers, Randy Sprouse (Sandy) of Calcutta and Kenny Sprouse (Bobbie) of Elkton; sisters, Kathy Sprouse of Calcutta and Amanda Bowser (Jack) of Calcutta; grandchildren, Isabella Trombetta, Delany Sprouse, Sydney Sprouse, and Sierra Sprouse (Ben and Erica Davis); mother-in-law, Alma Davidson; sister-in-law, Mary Morjock (Art); brother, in-laws, Ken Hilton (Heather) and their sons, Ben and Wyatt and Bob Hilton. Eddie will also be missed by his fur babies, Fred, George, and Pixie, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Per Eddie’s wishes, no services are planned. His arrangements were entrusted by the Arner Funeral Chapel. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Randy Gail, Randy Allen, Sarina, Luke, Nykki, and Buckeye Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
