Donna M. Battles

Donna M. Battles, 75, of New Waterford, passed, Sunday, April 2, 2023, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

Born, June 22, 1947, in Greenville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Russell and Marion Moyer Greenlee.

Donna graduated from God’s Bible School. She was a proud homemaker and mother. She believed taking care of her family and caring for her children was the most important job in the world.  Donna was a member of Lisbon Pilgrim Holiness.

She enjoyed nature, especially watching hummingbirds. Donna also found joy in coloring and spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Debbie DuBray and her husband, Michael of East Liverpool, Karla Grogg and her husband, Edward of Columbus and Rachelle Adams and her husband, Kenneth of Salem; sisters, Barbara Spence of Okeechobee, FL. And Lucinda Clevenger and her husband, Don of Sheakleyville, PA.; grandchildren, Natalee Stewart (James Houshour), Thomas Stewart Jr., Shane Taubert (Ashley Fultz), Aaron Diaz, Rylee Adams and Ashley Kinney (Robert), Morgan Grogg, Garrett Grogg, Michael DuBray Jr., (Courtney) Aaron DuBray (Brooke Giles), Yamni DuBray (Cori Galloway), Kyle DuBray (Tiffany Tosta), Savannah DuBray, Erika Cogar, Stevie Shockey, and Katie Bauman; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Nathanael Battles, and by her sister, Nancy Hall.

Pastor David Crosley will celebrate Donna’s life, Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel, at 4:00 PM. Friends may visit with Donna’s family, 2 hours before the service from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM. Meal will be provided at Memories ,Meetings and More  in East Liverpool after services. Private interment will be held at Sheakleyville Cemetery.
